It’s a simple phrase, coined by none other than Johan Sebastain Bach himself. At the end of each piece of music he wrote, he penned these words. To God alone be the glory.

When we sing, who do we sing for? Why do we sing? What do we sing? Regardless of whether we sing hymns or spiritual songs, or even Psalms…we can sing all things that glorify God, to God’s glory.
